Theology for the Underground
The Underground Railroad is often considered part of the global emerging church, and indeed a forerunner of it, as cultural changes typically begin on the fringes with the outcasts, and then move toward the center.
Because of this, the Underground Railroad has many of the same characteristics that the emerging church has. To reach the underground, principles that the larger church is just beginning to discover have been in practice and teaching for decades.
In light of this, we will be posting various articles and thoughts on the theological basis of underground ministry.
